The plan is to allow the Russian/Iranian axis to invade Saudi Arabia under the guise of Mecca coming under new custodial control. The House of Saud is being asked to step aside so that the Shiites can take control of it.
However, the real reason is that the Russians and Iranians want to consolidate the regions oil into a much more powerful cartel so that they can raise the price of oil to levels that will sustain their governments.
Today, the price of oil will wipe out both nations within a year. They need oil to go beyond $100. This military adventure does two big things: Fixes the price of oil problem and finally wipes out the Saudis (the original reason why the Soviets invaded Afghanistan).
This, all of this, has NOTHING to do with Syria. Nobody gives a toss about Syria. Syria merely gives the Russians a place to stage two complete Army Corps and one complete Bomber Group. This level of military force was reported by Iran’s official government news organization reported this, and no western journalism group has touched it yet. None.
This is the size force you use to take over a bunch of countries at once. If their forces receive no resistance all the way to the border of SA, it means that with Russia in the North, Iran in the East, and the Russian navy from the South, they could completely surround and overthrown the House of Saud, probably inside of a month.
ALSO - MAKE NO MISTAKE HERE:
Putin’s call for US planes to leave Syria has NOTHING TO DO WITH SYRIA. Putin is calling for US forces to leave the entire region. Most importantly, we are talking about the armored division we currently have housed in SA. We are ALSO talking about the naval assets in Bahrain.
THIS is what Putin is calling for.
The Russians have protected their military assets in Syria with their latest surface to air missile systems. ISIS doesn’t have planes, so the missiles are there to protect them against the Israelis and the US.
WHEN the Russians enter Saudi Arabia with their armored forces in November, the world will have an argument about whether we should do something about it.
The Israelis won’t lift a finger. They don’t have the armored forces to do the job, and the Russians have already divided the region up with them. This is why the Israelis are taking out the Palis today. Nobody is going to say anything about it. They did it the same day the Russians started hitting anti-Assad rebel positions (not ISIS).
Egypt has enough of its own problems, brought on largely by our inaction that led to the Arab Spring (what a joke in hindsight)
Within the next month, we will start bringing home the armored division we have in SA. It’s that, or we leave them there to be either captured or destroyed.
There is ZERO appetite to let our sons and daughters stay and defend the Saudis. None. Obama is going to sell it this way, and even the right are going to concede this.
Obama is going to give up on pipeline opposition pretty soon too. They’ll get this because if they can’t assure Europe that there is another source of oil other than the Russians, the only other choice for them over there is to get involved militarily.
Putin may even be assuring European capitols that the new boss in the ME isn’t going to ruin them economically, and they’ll be good petro-partners over there.
THIS IS THE REASON WHY PUTIN STARTED OUT BY INVADING AND TAKING UKRAINE. This eliminates any potential pipeline competitors in the region.
The invasion of Saudi Arabia is step two.
This is Putin’s plan for returning Russia to superpower status: a permanent way of being able to finance perpetual projection of power for the next 400 years.
It’s not exactly a Reich, but it will do until we figure out what else we can do for power beyond oil.
I was the first one to use the word ‘axis’ with respect to Russia and Iran. Obama backs this axis. He’s a silent partner. The entire deal with Iran was forced by the Russians. The Brits and the French have been given their assurances.
I am educated by your post.
Very impressive. (Seriously)
You have very quickly cut through all of the surface flack and gotten to the heart of the matter.
Where/how did you come to this understanding? I would really like to know.
And the Chinese want a stable oil provider, which an Iranian dominated ME would bring them.
Very good summary....your thoughts on China, the number one customer of oil from the Saudi Peninsula. .....and the Saudis reaction. I think they might want to get a hold of a few nukes, by hook or crook.
Israel could facilitate some m.a.d.ness for sure.
