A reporter on Tuesday asked House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) how he would differ from John Boehner if McCarthy succeeds Boehner as House Speaker:
I wont be as tanned, McCarthy joked. Theres a generational difference between us as well, he added later. Im a little younger.
Speaking at a Republican leadership news conference on Capitol Hill, McCarthy praised Boehner as a very good and decent man.
We want to make sure that were closer to the peoplethat they feel this is their government, theyre in charge, and we serve them. Now, thats not easy and it wont change overnight. But thats our mission.

McCarthy saying that the only difference between him and Boehner is that he won’t be as tan is no joke. Its the truth.

An actual conservative from California elected to office - some wool some one is trying to pull over some one else’s mind. He’ll likely be far worse than Boehner ever was.
Speaker In Waiting McCarthy, EPA head Gina McCarthy - are the two related politically? Likely.
He won’t be as tanned because he’ll have an honest California tan, not a tan from a lotion or UV box.

McCarthy was a thorn in liberal's sides when he was in the legislature. He would be MUCH better than Boehner just based on on personality - he is both more well spoken, more strategic, and more willing to fight.
BUT, (unfortunately there is a but), he isn't really any more conservative than Boehner. So if this makes sense, he scores a A for his ability to fight and govern for his beliefs, but a C+ for his beliefs. Boehner was D for his ability to fight and govern, and a C+ for his beliefs. The ideal candidate is an A in both categories.

The more I read and hear about this turkey, the more I fear him.
He was an aide of Boner and he is cut from the same cloth.
To hell with him and his bid for Speaker of the House!
