I’m glad Armageddon is miles from Syria, otherwise this would kind of look like all the world’s super powers lining up for one final massive showdown.

That being said, I think we’re getting pretty dang close to Ezekiel 38. That particular chapter can happen before the Tribulation, IMHO.
But yes, the location so close to the mountains of Israel (Ezekiel 38) and the Valley of Megiddo isn’t lost on me either. It is striking.
Ezekiel 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, -—against the mountains of Israel-—, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
