It looks like Trump is winning against Fox News. In an article written by Politico today the infamous Trump-hater Megyn Kelly is quoted as saying she no longer wants to talk about Donald Trump.
[ ] Hes a passionate man, and I think that passion has appealed to a lot of voters, and has surprised a lot of people, she said. I think thats all Im going to say.
(Via Politico) Fox News anchor and show host Megyn Kelly, who has been lambasted by presidential frontrunner Donald Trump since the first Republican national debate, said she was done talking about her feud with the candidate during a one-on-one discussion with Cosmopolitan editor Joanna Coles Monday morning during an Advertising Week panel.
I dont want to talk about Donald Trump any more, truly, she said after several questions from Coles about Trumps continued criticism. He has captured the attention of the electorate, and huge sections of the Republican base. I think hes a fighter, and that appeals to a lot of people. That appeals to a lot of people, and when he is upset at someone, he fights even harder.
Kelly, whose inquiry about Trumps disparaging comments about women during the first GOP debate led to high drama between the candidate and Fox News, maintained her questions were balanced and necessary to ask to a potential presidential candidate.
Her rationale: Hillary Clinton, a likely Democratic nominee, will waste no time attacking Trump for those same comments if he becomes the Republican partys first choice. Why shouldnt she attack it head-on first?
The purpose of all of those questions in the opening round of the debate was all about electability, Kelly said, adding that the first round of questions to all of the candidates were designed to be merciless, because we were trying to get at the core weaknesses of each candidate.
She rejected the notion that the feud with Trump was planned in any way.
I thought it was a fair question, she said. He didnt think it was fair. And that is his choice.
She added: I understand his position. Hes not a politician. He said afterwards that he was expecting us to be nice to him, and we werent nice That wasnt exactly the bargain. Its not a cocktail party, a presidential debate.
Kelly spoke favorably of Carly Fiorina, who targeted Trump onstage at the second Republican debate after he said in a Rolling Stone interview, Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?
The way Fiorina handled the comments at CNNs debate, Kelly said, was admirable.
It wasnt about Carly and Donald, she said. It was just about female empowerment.
Kelly declined to say whether the backlash from Trump surprised her.
She isn't totally stupid. She's removing herself from standing in the middle of a heavily trafficked Interstate before she's hit by a bus.
She will always be remembered for her attempted "hit job" on both Trump and Carson the night of the Fox debate.
Personally, I have NOT watched Fox or Megan Kelly since the night of the debate. True.
And don’t forget her question to Cruz.
It was totally push the GOPE and kill the upriser night
Shows what happens when your hyper ego offends the audience big time and your sexiness no longer gives you a free ride as a hot babe...get a reality check, chickee, you will always be seen as a self-propelled ball-buster. It must have taken years to find a husband that would tolerate your ball-busting ego.............
When a woman says that shes done talking about a man..she is not done talking about a man.

Agree! However, she will have many anti Trump guests on that will say everything for her, Bill O works the same way. WEASELS, both of them.
Me-gyn thought she could interject herself into the story and take advantage of Trump’s media ratings and come out looking good. But now she’s having to hold on to the tiger’s tail for dear life.
Poor Me-gyn: a surfeit of ego but very slim on gray matter.
There's the root cause of her problem, right there. The purpose of all of those questions in the opening round of the debate was all about electability, Kelly said, adding that the first round of questions to all of the candidates were designed to be merciless, because we were trying to get at the core weaknesses of each candidate.
Exactly - FNC was chosen for the first Republican debate because it was trusted not to do exactly that.Really? Would someone remind we what other candidates had a "merciless" question asked of them? It wasn't so much the question that was asked it was the tone in which it was delivered---almost with disgust in her voice. - mupcat
The point, surely, is that Megyn will not be grilling Hillary like she tried to grill trump. She wont even be given the chance - and even if she did somehow get the opportunity, she wouldnt do it any more than MSNBC would. She admitted that she was playing, not to the 20 millions in the audience, but to the other (Democrat) news organizations.
It has been some time since FNN was viewed here as well. And we watched nothing but almost from the beginning. Of course, when X Files was shown he did watch it whenever possible. Alas, we now find ourselves channel searching for something each evening. Unless good movie might be found, there is virtually nothing on the MFM. Blood, violence, dark stories. How rapidly things change in the world today. Do we miss Fox...no more than eternal house guests. Refuse to turn back to a once beloved network. Sorry, Fox, but you brought it on yourselves.
Thnx for the ping!
Yes, and I'm never done hearing it. Such is life.

I bet when that picture was taken she had no idea just how bad she was going to screw the pooch. She has lost a half a million viewers FAUX NOISE has lost a ton of viewers as well. I watch Hannity but that is it and cant wait to get OAN.
I DESPISE the “Girl Power” crap!!
Soooo, her whole thing was to “change the course of history”?? And she wanted one of them to be OUT that night after the debate!!
I can watch for a few minutes, then NOT!
So true!
I don't trust Fox anymore than the other cable news networks now and even if they went back to their early roots of "fair and balanced" reporting I won't be watching.
It's amazing how things have changed with alternatives such as netflix, Hulu, etc.. I find I watch less and less of the legacy media and for news there are so many alternatives on the internet, often with better analysis, I don't miss Fox. My business is taking me out of the country more and more, but I don't lack for information or entertainment as long as I have an internet connection.
It really is liberating.
Exactly. We don't need more evidence than this that the media's game is to choose our candidate.
They did the same thing to Newt in the last election.
I watched Trump’s interview on CNN last night and was impressed. They actually gave him time to answer the questions without interrupting and didn’t talk over him.
We plan to watch Fox tonight on line just to see Mr. T on BOR show. Trump is the only reason we’ll be watching BOR’s show...it’s certainly not to view the ‘host’ It will be of interest as to what certain questions will be asked if Trump will have the opportunity to answer before Bill breaks in with his shtick Fairness, MeKel,Trump’s return and for how long, etc. With Trump’s departure from Fox, Bill O must be climbing the ceiling. The man helped Fox become the best only to see the network stumble badly and bring their ratings and his down to the plummet stage. Fox...no longer Number One in News. They rise, they fall- such is life.
Mr T, hope to hear you are contemplating a new network (Conservative leaning) where you might find a home for yourself and WTP. LOL a gal can dream can’t she?
