Appreciate the kind response, FRiend! I've been peeking out at the moon here in North Texas between replies to this thread. Maybe I was expecting more but it's not quite the big show I recall in 1982 or thereabouts.
It wasn’t as big a moon as was being touted, but it was still beautiful to watch.
We are in the woods in Maine, and there are no street lights here to ruin the effect. (Had to wait for the moon to clear the dang trees, though!)
