Nope, just an honest question as he had made a very finely and accurately drawn point about usage. I’m taking the point as a distinction, “ the platoon was infuriated by ( as in “was inspired by “) the commands of the general,” rather than the usage in the article which would mean that the general made them angry at him. So, I wonder about “enraged by “ in the same context. Maybe the prefix “in-” vs. “”en-” has something to do with it, if it is different, but I don’t know Latin; I’ll ask my daughters when I think of it.
