Media gets it wrong...again
The crowd was booing the rube. Just as we have been booing him once the truth was revealed. The rube is a rhino and a liar.

Im the last person youd expect to defend Donald Trump, but these sound like boos of agreement, not against him.

I have to tell you that our current military is very high class people who want to serve their country and with a high percentage of college degrees. Much better quality of fighting forces. I say that in advance of all of OStumbles initiatives hopefully soon to be pulled back by President Trump.
Because Rubio has taken strong, articulate positions on pro-life and religious liberty issues, the very issues that matter deeply to the social conservatives there at the Values Voters Summit today, issues on which Rubio has a much stronger history than Trump. Rubio is also very strong and articulate on foreign policy. Yes, believe it or not, there are some issues conservatives care about other than immigration. Also, some of the people there today may not appreciate Trump's penchant for arrogance and cheap insults. They may find it unbecoming for a presidential candidate.
Well then, all Rubio has to do is convince his followers that he is no longer an amnesty-loving mini-Jeb, and then get his polling numbers up into Trump territory.
I love how you overlook the “cheap” insults that are hurled at Trump first. It must be sad to be so blinded. I watched the feed from OK, and when Trump mentioned certain things - the crowd booed - not at him but at the subject matter. That’s exactly what happened today with Rubio too - whether you want to admit it or not. I guess you are an amnesty lover - which is an enemy to this country. Just because Rubio can cite facts and figures, doesn’t make him strong on anything. He misses a lot of votes in the Senate. Yeah, he’s articulate because he has a smooth, glib tongue, which is all phony.
Anybody that sides with Chuck Schumer and John McCain, and Lindsey Graham is a lying low life sob beneath contempt. Rubio fits that bill.
That was not a Trump audience. They were very cold to him, even the obviously good things he said.
But yes, they were booing Trump, not Rubio.
Riiiight, and “we” all believe that because nobody would lie about a simple thing like that!
Rubio has zero support from Florida Republicans and conservatives. I've heard some RINOs and illegal aliens adore him.
Frankly, there is no possible insult tossed against Rubio that he does not richly deserve.
I will never tire of hearing them! No matter who dishes them out. He won't ever win another Florida election as a Republican. I expect he will change parties soon. Will you still support him then?
Those kids on MSNBC say the darndest things!
Now that is quite a leap. First of all, Rubio is not even my candidate. That would be Cruz. Cruz is superb, just what I'm looking for. But there are issues where I think Rubio is strong--I mentioned pro-life, religious liberty, and foreign policy, and I'll take Rubio over Trump ten days out of ten on those. Furthermore, Trump's liberal history and personal demeanor give me pause, to say the least. His lack of knowledge on the major issues, his "I I I" shtick--he is a walking self-parody. And I don't trust him one bit.
What the He** are you talking about? I’m not now or never have been a Rubio supporter and for you to suggest this ticks me off. I’ve been a huge Trump supporter for a long time, and I don’t worship him or everything he says and does. I can critize him if I went, but I’ll still vote for him.
By that token, then, I guess you are an abortion, gay-marriage, and Democrat-contributing lover.
That’s your choice. Trump is a man of action, as his business shows - but don’t criticize those of us who support Trump.

I have to tell you that the college graduates I’ve brought to Fort Lee, Fort Eustis & Fort Bragg were appalled at what they saw. There were no day care centers in Eisenhower’s army. Over half the young men in every Ivy League school did some type of military service.
So do those kids from CNN, Politico, USA Today, ABC News, The Washington Post, Hot Air, The Washington Times, and The New York Times. I guess they're all lying.
“His problem is he only appeals to the conservative base. He has no appeal to indies and cant bring in any others.”
That was one of the main things that got me to switch to Trump. Cruz and only Cruz was my choice, except for his H1-B love, but he simply can’t win when he’s drawing this low. If Trump wasn’t in this I’d be content to vote for Cruz in the primary and then skip the general when Jeb! or one of his idiot clones got the nomination.
But Trump can win the whole thing. My gut instinct tells me that he’s a patriot who never really thought deeply about political issues before, so I don’t put a lot of stock in what he’s said over the years. He was a businessman and not a freeper political junkie. And it’s telling that Cruz likes him. But to each his own. I can understand why COA doesn’t trust him, but I think she’s mistaken. I just hope she’s pleasantly surprised when/if he wins.
It wouldn't please me at all, Pelham, but I don't see Trump appealing to a wide enough base of voters to become the nominee. He can't control his mouth long enough.
Three years ago Trump was widely regarded as a joke, a shyster, and a liberal on FR. I haven't changed in that regard. I've done enough reading about the man to know that he's a sleazebag, and when I saw him waving a Bible around today as a prop...no. I won't be changing my mind about him.
I keep hearing people say they like Cruz and would support him if his numbers were higher. Well, but it doesn't work that way. His numbers go higher WHEN we support him. As he said at the Values Voters Summit today, if we unite, we win. I've been a Cruz supporter from the beginning and I'll remain one, whether he's polling high, low, or in-between.
