I want to see a link that Trump was in favor of legalizing drugs - when all he has ever told his kids - no drugs - no alcohol - no cigarettes. And, he is right - it should be up to each individual state to legalize marijuana or not,.
You know what you’re gonna get, “States Issue”.
“However, Trump contradicts himself when asked about states rights and marijuana laws. Trump said, If they vote for it, they vote for it.”
There is no contradiction. You can be against legalizing marijuana and still believe it’s an issue for the states to decide for themselves.
Just a comment; Every state that has legalized MJ has also over taxed and regulated it to the point it’s still just as cheap to deal with the cartels.
No contradiction there - unless you're saying he support (re)criminalizing the alcohol and cigarettes against which he advised his kids.
"Every state" means 2 in which legalization has taken effect - poor basis for declaring an iron law. I'd like to see what Alaska does about taxation and regulation (they're still working on the implementation).
And many people are willing to pay a premium to stay 100% legal - legal pot sales in licensed stores are doing very well in Colorado.

Just a smoke screen to distract from important issues.
Dragging out an old newspaper article from 1990 - I think he was probably talking about marijuana - I’m not so sure that heroi and coke were that big during that era. I could be wrong - since I know that heroin and cocaine were big even during the Prohibition era. I just don’t think that Trump meant hard drugs - it isn’t specified - and if he thought that back then - I disagree with that - it’s a Libertarian point of view. Now, I ask the question - just how do we deal with the rise in drug use and dealers?
It’s going to be on the ballot here in Ohio in November.
Yeah, anyone seeking dirty laundry needs to look for a fresher vintage - and I happen to agree with most of what he said there. (I don't think educating the public is a proper function of government ... but if I woke up tomorrow to find that ever greater abuse of government authority had disappeared I'd be ecstatic.)
Since it occurred under drug criminalization, the answer is clearly not to do more of what has failed.
I am 100% against MJ because of untold reasons but I believe it is a state issue.
18T debt
fake economy
WW3 starting up as a currency war
Babies being torn apart live and sold
Islam taking over our government
Our military being dismantled from within
Christians and Jews slaughtered around the world because of our deal leader
Lawlessness is the new law
GBLT taking over
Where do the candidates stand on legalization of pot?
Normally, I’d care. Not right now, though.
Because Colorado is a must-win state in virtually every electoral college scenario and nobody wants to p*ss off the large number of doobie-voters who have moved there.

Nowadays, if a pol is taking the right position for the wrong reason ... that'll have to do.
The economy is a disaster, the country is being overrun by freeloading foreigner invaders, unemployment has skyrocketed, the Gaystapo are acting like those crazy bad guys in “Mad Max”, the “pope” is pimpin’ communism to the U.S. Congress and the “media” wants talk about marijuana in the 2016 election. America REALLY deserves the misery waiting in our future. We deserve everything we are about to get.
