“whether you will give credence to cock and bull accounts of nature that dont have support either in the bible, or in good science, or even in traditional theology.”
That is a bit afield of where I see matters of faith residing.

The whole world hates the US middle class. Our own government also. They want us gone by any means available.

"Hey Pope, how about you lecturing all the South American countries like the one you came from. Tell them to stop their policies to drive all the citizens out. Tell to stop their deplorable living conditions, their drug cartels."
That's actually a pretty good point. Let's see him go to Columbia and Mexico and challenge the cartels and the corruption. Let's see him go to Venezuela and challenge the corruption and mismanagement there. Let him ask the question, "Why do so many of your people want to leave?"

"People just dont go to church like they used to. Religion is a lot less important to families now. Religion used to be where most family socialization came from. Not true anymore."
Many American Catholic schools - at all levels - are going the way of the Ivy League, e.g. they are becoming good-quality schools for rich kids, with a high percentage of non-Catholic students, and an extremely diluted theological education.

The Pope must really hate this country. Why else would he suggest something that, unless he is delusional, anybody with normal IQ realizes it would destroy the U.S.

Ditto for Europe. He either doesn't realize that mass immigration of Muslims into Europe will be the final nail in the coffin of Christian Europe, or he doesn't care, or he HOPES to see the end of Christian Europe.

RE: The Pope must really hate this country.
I don’t think he does. I’d say he is MIS-GUIDED on this issue and needs to gain more knowledge.

Take them to the Vatican and redistribute all that stolen wealth the Roman Catholic church has taken from others. You are not our leader and never will be Pope. Go home and practice your pagan traditions and leave us alone.

I appreciate your comments. You’re right on matters of faith, but his social commentary is woefully out of touch with reality, and I gather we agree there.
Come back John Paul, all is forgiven... (or was it JP II?)

Why is Ted Cruz slobbering all over Francis? The Cruz comments I have read so far go beyond polite praise and into near hero worship.

America does not need tens of millions more uneducated, illiterate, destitute welfare receipients with a multitude of brats on the government dole. Shut. The. Border. Down. Then America can work on deporting the tens of millions of illegals back to their countries of origin. Oh, and to this socialist POS masquerading as a ‘pope’: STFU!

Your post #12. regarding the position of Italian authorities and undesirables noted.
The island of Lampedusa in the Mediterranean is a classic example. 6000 people live there and carry on a hitherto happy life. Thousands have come there via Libya "mostly young men in their 20's and 30's. Their holding camp long over crowded.
I was talking to Italian Canadians who have a small hair styling/cutting business. Just down my street. They said sadly about the situation in those places invaded by these people this:
Life has changed there forever
I did not press them further. I understand no women in that island can walk the streets at night unaccompanied. No door left unlocked in the day.

Open the gates to the Vatican Pope Francis. Show us by example. Take 3,000 refugees - most who will need to be supported by the Church into the Vatican.
Allow the original 3,000 to bring their extended families to the Vatican too... and support the majority of them on Church funds... They should not have the same culture as the Vatican City just as Mexicans don’t have the same culture as we do...
Maybe Muslim refugees would be the equivalent of what we’re being asked to do...
We’re waiting Pope Francis for you to tell us how that works for you.
SHOW US THE WAY...
TEAR DOWN THAT WALL - LEAD BY EXAMPLE
