We were recently going thru baby pictures of several generation and branches of our family. My aunt ( who passed this morning). Said “ we were so poor we could only afford one face !”

Trumps grandfather died when Trumps father was eleven (Spanish Flue). Grandmother ran the company until Fred was 16. At that time he was finishing high school, attending trade school in evening( (electric, plumbing, framing etc). AND working weekends and before school.
Get the picture. German-work ethic Grandmother would sign paper work to buy house Fred would do renovation and they would sell it to make a living. Put daughter thru business school. John the youngest was sent to be an architect He preferred engineering and received numerous award. MIT genius look him up. A story in itself

That is too funny. Must apply to part of my family, too. Seems like everybody had little round chubby faces and very straight blond hair when they were small. Must be the Bohemian in the blood line.

The Trump baby pictures look alot like ours. Blond hair, blue eyes and chubby cheeks.
I look like my late aunt who looked just like my Welsh 3rd cousins.
I remember when my youngest grandson was two and three and going to one of our local pre-k schools. There were 8 little boys in his group and they were all sitting at the same long table having birthday cake when I went to pick him up one day. They had their back to me and I could not pick out my grandson. All had straight blond hair cut in the same Dutch boy cut and all were stocky and exactly the same size. Had to laugh.
Sorry about your aunt’s passing today. Sure you are enjoying memories.

She was such an influence in so many lives. Won teacher of the year twice in the state. Loving and kind. Such a role model. Many many memories
It can’t help that Megyn Kelly / Fox ran with that story about DT raping his ex-wife. If someone did something like that (grievously false story) to me, I’d never trust them again.
I don’t think she is Orthodox. You sure? I do know she is Jewish.
Her in laws are orthodox. She has a kosher kitchen and the family eats kosher. They turn all electronic equipment off Friday evening through Saturday. Other than dress—which doesn’t seem to change. What else does she need to do to become orthodox?
On the flip side, we adopted and everybody comments on how she looks just like us and even has my grandmother’s eyes!
