Remember that in the initial stories the cops were quoted as saying something like “we figured it was you” when they showed up and saw the kid in the front office.
That indicates past history of this sort of thing. Very clearly indicates past history.

When I was in middle school I was concerned mainly with baseball, football, and watching the...ummm....developments among my female classmates. Making bomb threats was not on the radar.
Can I just pause to ask what compelling reason we had to let this family into our country? What did they bring that would benefit us?
