Gay couples in Kentucky are questioning the validity of altered marriage licenses issued by a defiant county clerk and have asked a federal judge to order her to reissue the licenses or put the office in receivership and have someone else do it.

Yes, thats my understanding. Same licenses regardless of the orientation of the couples.
Remember that she stopped issueing licenses, any license, prior to going to jail. Heterosexual couples who couldn’t get licenses out of her were part of the suit.
I think that she and her legal team have the next half-dozen or so moves plotted out. Each one designed to trigger additional overreach by the ACLU, making them look like bullies and allowing her to claim victimization. Not only on behalf of herself but also like minded Christians as well.
As I’ve mentioned before, KY holds off-year elections. This may have very serious ramifications in a state that still elects “Conservative” Denocrats (like, ironicly, Davis herself) to public office.
I attribute that to Douglas Wilson - In Which I Paint With Some Bright Yellows
Cordially,
Most states that I'm familiar with allow you to get your marriage license in one county and get married in another and file the license in a third if you want to. It's a state document, not a county one. County's handle the issuing of them for the same reason they issue driver's licenses and hunting licenses, convenience.
OK. The way I read the comment made it seem different. Thank you for the clarification.
In addition to others I can’t remember, Rivka Edelman (aka B.N. Klein) spoke about it in her story of her childhood. Her mother was apparently so absorbed in her role of activist and her contempt for heterosexuals (breeders) that she wasn’t a parent at all. After a short web search, I wasn’t able to locate the specific story where she mentioned the part about late night plotting with her lesbian cohorts. I didn’t bookmark it. I think it is in the book Jephthah’s Daughters.
If the topic interests you, I suggest starting a search with her name and others like Katy Faust, Heather Barwick, Robert Oscar Lopez, Dawn Stephanowicz. All of those people were involved in writing amicus briefs to the supreme court before this summer’s misguided ruling. Here is one:

Once you start reading these people’s stories and following links to other people, you will uncover the truth that the homosexual community is trying hard to keep hidden by personally attacking these brave souls.
Someone posted same-sex mirage here, and I thought SSM was a great way to refer to pagan homosexual mirage. It’s not ever marriage, so highly appropriate.
Gay men are in a snit because young women get to play princess for a day and they cant.
Just a matter of time until some snowflake shows up on ‘Say Yes to the Dress’, wanting an ‘apprpriate’ gown...
Cordially,
This is the very same crowd which whines “don’t impose your morality on us”. Hypocrites, as well as perverts.
That is interesting. I know it had been reclassified as mental “saneness” in the 70’s by pressure from the homosexuals, but I didn’t know how they went about it. It doesn’t matter how it’s classified. They can throw all the temper tantrums they want and it won’t change the fact that they are a bunch of mental train wrecks.
Scary, too. There are some stores I go to in Austin where the clientele make me feel like I am in a freak show. Tall dudes in full length peasant skirts with wide brimmed hats are laughably conspicuous - especially when the makeup is put on with a pancake spatula. I am afraid to get too close. They give me the feeling that they have nothing left to lose.
Men are wearing skirts and foundation makeup? I read yesterday that male dresses was the big thing now. I didn’t believe it before now, but foundation?
I wish I’d had the guts to take covert pictures of the two dudes I have seen in the last week wearing full war paint. One was so bad that he looked like a clown. And I have no idea where he found a skirt in that length. He had to have been 2-3” over 6’. And his ugly, wide, size 12 feet where stuffed into slides with about a 1 inch heel.
The other guy had obviously had some pointers with his facial production, but he looked like a cheap hooker in the short pencil skirt. My daughter and I were trying our best not to gawk because he was clearly there for the audience. He was hanging with his “girlfriends”, talking in his baritone voice and looking around to see who was looking at him.
I absolutely do not feel safe anywhere near those people. No sane woman should. I have heard that a lot of the crossdressing men are still attracted to women.
Sickness on parade.
