Dad loves One America News, which my cable service doesn’t offer. I’ll google it. Thanks

In 5 years there will be no CNN.
ESPN? Why watch ESPN?

Why?
Who said we are wtching? We are jyst paying for it whether we watch it or not.
At least CNN has some minimum value.

I hate "professional" thugball with a passion, all forms.

And if I am on cable, I'll pay whether I watch or not.
And ESPN costs 8 times as much as CNN.

Cable free since 2006. Thousands in savings. And now beginning to see real results. Outstanding.

They hate us. Hate them back.

Two year commitment: first year $29.99 and second year $59.99.

That’s just the introductory rate. Goes up a bunch once that period is over.

Yes, and even more if the bar wants to turn the volume up so customers can hear.

If they charge an admission. If they have a cable or sat package, and it’s just on while patrons eat and drink, no.

Isn’t ESPN owned by Disney which also owns ABC? I normally don’t watch ESPN nor ABC for that matter.

A later thought on this. The writer doesn’t say what a cable or satellite company would get for $6.10 per month. ESPN has at least five stations: ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN News and ESPN Classic.

If they get most or all those for $6.10, it almost makes sense, but there’s no way cable and satellite providers could pay $6.10 for the main ESPN channel alone. And I doubt ESPN charges every provider the identical price since contracts renew at different times.
