Those donors can shift their funds to Gov. Jeb Bush and abandon the unimportant players, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) 47% of South Carolina, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and former New York Gov. George Pataki. More importantly, the donors can quit popular upstart candidates, such as Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) 93% , and Gov. Mike Huckabee.

DT is populist, not a conservative.

That is a concern among many.

Including those of us who are not part of the establishment.

DT, btw IS the establishment IMHO.

If Walker is going to back Bush, I feel really sorry for Bush....Trump will shread him to little pieces in front of the whole world, and the Bush Clan will be helpless, as will Walker....

I can see that Walker was a dead horse at the end, but to maintain your reputation for later years of politics to run again someday, don’t stab yourself in the back...

The low runners should leave, and decide who they are going to support, but don’t try to tear or pick away at Trump, he won’t take it and he will erase you....he will hand you your head on a platter, and the next time you try to run for something, that will come back to haunt you...go out gracefully, come back again on a sunny day...

It will be telling to see to whom Scott throws his support.

Agitprop.. Walker sided with NO ONE..

Trump being a left of center “conservative”.. has some people confused..

Trump is some times a LEFTY, some times a RIGHTY.. but never in the Center..

you know............. a CONSERVATIVE...

Walker proved my initial suspicions about him with his exit speech peppered with Cheap Labor Express talking points.

The Cheap Labor Express is determined we will not be allowed to elect anyone who would enforce the laws or secure the border.

“I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider [exiting] so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current frontrunner,” said Walker.

Translation: Let us support someone who 1) will be supportive of the current program in DC or 2) can’t win against the Democrats.

While Trump may be good for the country he will be a nightmare for DC.

Walker’s observation is correct in my opinion.

Donald Trump could be a Ronald Reagan type if he were not so grumpy and insulting. RR never ad any of those characteristics.

I have said this before and I will repeat it. I want to like DT, but cannot get past his rather ugly persona. He is a narcissist, and we have put up with one for 7 years already in the WH. In fact, the Clintons are similar in that respect. GWB had at least a sense of decorum and love of country without all the preening and insulting rhetoric - along with his shortcomings - which were primarily trying to be nice to people who insulted him. That was not good.

So, is Donald trying to be the anti-GWB? He ought to be imitating RR and being anti-Obama and anti-liberal. It is obvious DT does not like Obama and this administration. That’s good! So he ought to concentrate on that aspect and get over all the insulting and boorish habits. If he does not, it will not matter how good he talks, he will not be able to overcome the distasteful impression which turns lots of people off.

Walker turns out to be a double-A ballplayer who can’t hit major league pitching. Too bad, but a weak bat never makes it to the majors unless you’re an outstanding defensive shortstop from the Dominican Republic.

Why would anyone, interested in helping the country, publicly jab the guy who could be the next president?

Republican elite lack the savvy to run the country

What GOOD can come of that?

Walker as governor will need the president. Whoever he is

Do the republicans think they’re going to run someone else and win against Trump?

Do they think Hillary will be impressed?

Does Walker think he can turn the polls toward him on his way out?

Is he helping by installing doubt?

Will anyone notice that the loyalty oath that Brett Baer rudely asked was meant only one way? Trump only?

No other republican has to be loyal to the front runner, if it is Trump.

Makes Fox look even worse.

They think they’re going to lead a four or eight year ‘we hate Trump’ campaign? And come out ahead? Like the libs did to W?

No

It only took me a couple of months to get Mitt Walker’s number. He’s a small time establishment career politician with no message and no core values that I can detect. He flip flops like the win in order to fulfill his political aspirations.

Watching the MSM on every channel trying to smear and destroy Donald Trump over the past 3 days is just sickening. I have never seen anything so vicious and unending. We have basically just turned the TV off.

Walker’s exiting comments just prove why he failed. Too many of us smelled the establishment stench on him.

I had counted Walker as someone I would consider voting for. I am impressed by his accomplishments in Wisconsin but I did worry because every now and then you would get a whiff of the stench of the GOP on him. I guess my gut was right.
