Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker used his sooner-than-expected exit speech to spout the anti-Trump, populist-hating narrative now being pushed by the establishments entwined GOP, Democratic, Wall Street, and media wings.
Establishment interests are trying to scare middle-class voters by painting a dark, depressing, and negative image over the optimistic and enthusiastic crowds now powering Donald Trumps upbeat Make American Great Again campaign. clip Those donors can shift their funds to Gov. Jeb Bush and abandon the unimportant players, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) 47% of South Carolina, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and former New York Gov. George Pataki. More importantly, the donors can quit popular upstart candidates, such as Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) 93% , and Gov. Mike Huckabee.
I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider [exiting] so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current frontrunner, said Walker, who was recently expected to get major financial support from donors allied to the Koch brothers low-tax, low-regulation coalition.
Walkers negative rhetoric supports the Democrats negative strategy against Trump. For example, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton claimed Sept. 18 that she was appalled at Trumps decision to ignore a questioners claim that President Barack Obama is a Muslim. Trump should start behaving like a president, said Clinton, whose campaign is beset by legal and political crises.
That frontrunner is the bête noire of the establishment, Donald Trump, whose populist pitch stole away nearly all of Walkers voters.
Two months ago, Walker was leading the GOP race because he was successfully straddling the GOPs populist and establishment wings. But populist Trump, Ben Carson, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 96% have won most of the GOPs populist vote, and Walker could not compete

Walker’s destroying his political future.
Walker turns out to be a double-A ballplayer who can’t hit major league pitching. Too bad, but a weak bat never makes it to the majors unless you’re an outstanding defensive shortstop from the Dominican Republic.
One would think his exit speech was music to the GOPe.
“Donald Trump could be a Ronald Reagan type if he were not so grumpy and insulting. RR never ad any of those characteristics.”
Except that Reagan ran during a time when civility still existed in America. That is no longer the case. You can see that from the Internet, to media, to driving, to just standing in line at Walmart.
Trump is getting his “We’re pi***d off and we aren’t going to take it any more!” message out above the din of the hate-filled, incredibly-biased media, and the others simply don’t have that kind of a Mega-phone.
Just look what Colbert did to Cruz.
And Jeb is already being defined as slow, and an Idiot by that same media.
Why would anyone, interested in helping the country, publicly jab the guy who could be the next president?
Republican elite lack the savvy to run the country
What GOOD can come of that?
Walker as governor will need the president. Whoever he is
Do the republicans think they’re going to run someone else and win against Trump?
Do they think Hillary will be impressed?
Does Walker think he can turn the polls toward him on his way out?
Is he helping by installing doubt?
Will anyone notice that the loyalty oath that Brett Baer rudely asked was meant only one way? Trump only?
No other republican has to be loyal to the front runner, if it is Trump.
Makes Fox look even worse.
They think they’re going to lead a four or eight year ‘we hate Trump’ campaign? And come out ahead? Like the libs did to W?
No
Glad we figured him out early on.
Agreed. Let’s get the wheat separated from the chaff sooner than later.
It only took me a couple of months to get Mitt Walker’s number. He’s a small time establishment career politician with no message and no core values that I can detect. He flip flops like the win in order to fulfill his political aspirations.
Watching the MSM on every channel trying to smear and destroy Donald Trump over the past 3 days is just sickening. I have never seen anything so vicious and unending. We have basically just turned the TV off.
Unless he was offered the VP position by JEB.
‘DT, btw IS the establishment IMHO.’
What an idiotic comment.
Well...let’s see. DT is a billionaire and was born into one of the wealthiest real estate families in NYC. He went to an elite college-—Wharton. He hobnobs with the rich and powerful-—including the Clintons-—(whom he also gives money to) and who were also invited guests to his latest wedding to his latest trophy wife. Not only is DT is a country club Republican, but he actually owns many of the world’s finest golf courses. He lives in palatial mansions and high rise penthouses in Manhattan. Tell me this guy isn’t part of the establishment. What a joke!
I suspect he is making a play to the GOPe for future party support.
Too bad for Walker, he works for the GOPe now.
I liked him early on.
Walker’s exiting comments just prove why he failed. Too many of us smelled the establishment stench on him.
The MSN’s promoting of Snarly ought to give folks a clue. There hatred of Trump is visceral.
Wealthy?....of course. Evil intentions?....that's up to you to decide.
Whatever he is, he's one of two candidates that isn't owned by the "Establishment" media, more than willing to take them on. Seeing that the "Establishment" media is campaigning for the Left (which includes the GOPe), I ask you, is that a bad thing?

The Trump bashing is so bad that all the MSM is doing is making people mad. Its just going to make Trump stronger.
It’s a different game now than when Reagan ran. Back then the establishment smiled and talked nice in public. They were only after the little people’s money. Now,they don’t even put on a facade and their goal is the destruction of America.
