DEVELOPING: Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, once a leading candidate in the Republican presidential race, will announce Monday that he is suspending his campaign, Fox News confirms. Walker once was leading in some polls, but has seen his position in the polls deteriorate amid the rise of front-runner Donald Trump and a number of missteps from the candidate himself. The decision is expected to be announced at a press conference at 6 p.m. ET. He becomes to second GOP candidate to suspend his campaign, following former Gov. Rick Perry.

I liked what he had to say but he seemed to become voiceless and near invisible in recent weeks.
He coulda been a contender. He coulda been somebody.
So Perry and Walker are out but Pataki, Gilmore, and Graham are still in? Why?
If the only thing that Trump does is eliminate all the weaker “conservative” and conservative candidates so that candidates like Cruz have less competition for conservative votes, then he has done a good thing.

If that trio remains in the race, Bush will be the nominee.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s on the eventual nominee’s short list for VP.
I hope this doesn’t mean that Lindsey will take his spot on the debate stage.

I sensed that Walker shot up in the polls immediately after Rush had some very favourable comments about him. After that, he didn’t seem to add the necessary strength and determination needed to back him up.
He lost me (not that it matters lol) when I found out he posed with a couple of lesbians at a pretend marriage.

Bush has essentially no rank and file R support.
His plan was great when Hillary was going to be the D nominee by acclamation. Have all the Dems cross over to elect the R soft target. Worked great for Romney in 2012 when there were no D POTUS primaries.
But Hillary is collapsing and SlowJoe looks to be in. Dems will be voting in their own primaries now, I think.
