You raise some very valid points. The issue of lobbyists and access to government is indeed a huge issue, probably larger than that of term limits.

But the lack of term limits is indeed a big part of the problem. What’s nice is that it is easily definable.

Lots of things need to be done, and they all weave together. We have to start unraveling Govco everywhere we can.

I have two words for anyone who thinks term limits are going to have any effect on the political, economic, and social climate in this country:

1. Bush

2. Clinton

The office of the President of the United States is the only one that is subject to term limits under the U.S. Constitution. Here we are in 2015, in a nation of more than 300 million people, and the political powers and their media propagandists have come up with two @ssholes from these two families as the frontrunners in next year's election campaign.

I rest my case.
