In the wake of the latest televised Republican presidential debate, New York businessman Donald Trump has more support than ever for the GOP's 2016 presidential nomination, according to an NBC/Survey Monkey Poll released Sunday. According to the survey, Trump has the support of 29 percent of Republicans, up from 22 percent in July and August.
Other contenders for the nomination are far behind Trump, according to NBC. Maryland pediatric neurosurgeon Ben Carson is second with 14 percent. Carson has gained steadily in NBC polls, registering 7 percent in April, 8 percent in July, and 10 percent in August.
Carly Fiorina, who finished second in a CNN poll released earlier Sunday, finishes third in NBC's poll with 11 percent support. NBC's statistics show a steady movement upward for Fiorina, who registered 2 percent support in July, and 8 percent in August. Fiorina appears to be the candidate who irritates Trump most. On Sunday, Trump tweeted that "Carly Fiorina did such a horrible job at Lucent and HP, virtually destroying both companies, that she never got another CEO job offer."

But...but...but....he’s going implode any day now ...right?

“Strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine”.
he he he he he he he.....
I had a similar thought when she kept talking past ‘time’.
She had a pat set of memorized bullet points to cover, and she was going to finish her mini speech, moderators be damned.

The @TODAYshow refused to use their just in poll numbers where I have a massive lead but instead used @CNN numbers where my lead is smaller.
Of course you’re meaning John Elliot Boosh.
¡Heb!
Something other than "I love the moslems. I think moslems are great people."
That is his stock answer....
Trump: I love the........(fill in the blank here)....people
That is because in reality he loves the few he actually knows or those that have passed screening and work for him.
In reality it is a touch of sarcasm thrown back at the questioner.
What a great term. Perfectly descriptive. Im adding it to my vocabulary.
You might like to add "verbal dioreah" also
“Whats wrong with people?!? The media clearly declared Carly Fiorina the winner of the last debate.”
Not only that, she has a silver tongue and a beautiful face.
I don’t believe any of our people were given questions ahead of time. The MSM has it’s problems but that kind of choice is NOT one of ‘em.
My guess is that it doesn’t really matter to Ethan what Trump said. If he had said that Islam is an evil religion, and we need to deport all Muslims, he would have accused Trump of lying and pandering.
You woke up this morning, and found out that Trump took an Obama in your bowl of cornflakes overnight.
Don't leave your cereal out on the counter, Ethan. :)
LOL! THAT might leave a mark, patq.
Some Canadians don't mind if you call them homos, though.
You one of them, Ethan?
Remember how nobody liked Romney and how he managed to weasel his way into the nomination anyways?
And remember in 2008 we were all watching Huckabee and Romney slug it out and suddenly McLame was the nominee?
Divide and conquer is their game. They know how to play.
Agreed. We need to be prepared to pivot if necessary. Walker dropping out has changed the game. My guess is, it serves Jeb somehow.
