We all know there's no religious test in the Constitution. We didn't need the self aggrandizing lecture where Cruz once again tries to demonstrate he's the smartest guy in the room..
The fact that Cruz wouldn't/couldn't bring himself to state clearly that islam is a theocracy, and therefore incompatible with the United States Constitution and our form of Government is a HUGE disappointment.
One would've thought Cruz was smarter than to pander to the mooslimes, but that's exactly what he just did.
Up to about this point I kinda liked Cruz but after this, he's dead to me.
Cruz is a Constitutional scholar and lawyer. He's been studying our founding documents since the age of fourteen.
Either it is, or it isn't, legal for a Muslim to run for the presidency. It is. Acknowledging that simple truth is not "pandering".
You think he should have lied?
"Up to about this point I kinda liked Cruz but after this, he's dead to me."
Heartbreaking.
That's the part that turns me off, and his bad votes.
