I’m merely defending Sen. Cruz’s assertion that religious affiliation does not exclude one from running for president under our constitution.

Islam is still not a religion but rather a hate-filled ideology bent on destroying the West. That would have been a better answer for Cruz to give. Cruz is still my choice-but the media is hell-bent on trying to undermine all the GOP candidates and are having some success.
