Et tu, Ted? You’re losing me here. Islam is unconstitutional and antithetical to our way of life. The founders never considered the backward hate-filled political movement disguised as a religion as possibly having a presidential candidate. Wake up and speak the truth.

Et tu, Ted?
___

Right on! In fact, I’d be so “extreme” as to suggest that islam be labeled as a political terrorist organization and banned from operating in the United States.

You people are living in an absolute fantasy world if you think someone can be kept off the ballot because of their religion or for that matter for being a communist.

Those simply aren’t part of the constitutional requirements for being eligible for president.

Because we don’t agree with someone doesn’t mean they’re ineligible to be on the ballot for president.

Why do Americans including us get our attention pulled to these ridiculous shiny objects? The economy has been in the tank and we as a country are going bankrupt but here we go again another shiny object covering a social issue. I swear conservatives will never learn.

Actually the Constitution did not nor does not forbid any religion. Re-read the First Amendment. No where in the Constitution does address whom, on a religious sense, can hold the office of President. That is precisely what Cruz was speaking on.

Islam itself is indeed incompatible with our Constitution and may be what Carson was speaking toward. That was not the question Cruz was asked.
