The top brass of Spain’s ruling conservative Popular Party including Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy have attended the same-sex marriage of their deputy secretary-general, giving tacit approval to a law they once bitterly opposed.
Javier Maroto exchanged vows with Josema Rodriguez late Friday at a ceremony in the northern city of Vitoria attended by Rajoy, secretary-general Maria Dolores Cospedal and other party dignitaries, the party said in a statement.
“In Spain, the right to marriage is for everyone and we all share that message today,” Maroto said afterward.
“Parties evolve,” he added. “Now my party and the government join in backing that right.” …

What it shows is that the elite of the Western countries have been corrupted because of constant pressure from radicals intent on burning it all down.
God has given them up to depravity. Just like here. This is to be expected. When the tribulation period comes, the world will have earned it.

I knew this movement was never about tolerance, it was always about forced acceptance.
I knew many people that didn’t care about this issue one way or the other and were therefore kind of libertarian on homo marriage. I tried to warn them that the gay lobby was not about tolerance and freedom, it was about forced acceptance and oppression. Sadly, I, and everyone here on FR and anywhere else that warned of the same thing were exactly right.
Christendom might stand to look in a mirror to see what it, itself, has “earned.”
Then when the other shoe drops, it might dawn on them that it’s about what Christ has earned.
BOOM there it is.

Yep... and that is what happens when love is hollowed out and replaced with a farce from the devil. A problem that started way WAY before the modern “gay craze.”

Not that different here. George Bush papa and wife Barbara were official witnesses at a gay wedding. So that’s a step beyond just attending. At the first GOP debate, Kasich bragged about attending a homosexual wedding. Etc. It makes you understand why Eastern European countries and Russia are so opposed, they don’t want it to get a foot in the door.
You are picking at the word “earned” but changing the context. The poster is correct in that context. You are correct in your context. Christ did not become the propitiation for our sins to make us indifferent to vile things.
He also did not give us a license to react to them as though we were Satan, standing on our personal idea of merit.
