Mike Huckabee isn’t happy with President Obama‘s decision to appoint an openly gay man as the next Secretary of the Army.
Eric Fanning, the current acting Under Secretary of Army, was selected by Obama this week, which would make him the first openly gay man to lead any branch of the U.S. military.
And while The Washington Post notes his sexuality isn’t really a big deal to the Army or to even some Republicans in Congress, leave it to Huckabee to crank up the outrage-ometer with this statement today:
It’s clear President Obama is more interested in appeasing America’s homosexuals than honoring America’s heroes. Veterans suicide is out-of-control and military readiness is dangerously low, yet Obama is so obsessed with pandering to liberal interest groups he’s nominated an openly gay civilian to run the Army. Homosexuality is not a job qualification. The U.S. military is designed to keep Americans safe and complete combat missions, not conduct social experiments.
Huckabee said something similar last month when asked about transgender soldiers, because obviously allowing non-straight people to serve their country openly with honor and dignity is a “social experiment.”
Huckabee is right. It isn’t

Gays lied when they claimed they just wanted to be in the military like heterosexuals. Its all about their sex not their qualifications with the emphasis on the first gay all the time.

But it’s a big deal to Obama and his homosexual sympathizers and that’s why his sexual preference was noted when he was selected. Obama is on a great crusade in this country. Tear the moral fabric of the country apart with this daily onslaught of homosexual this, homosexual that. It never ends. Homosexuals are the only class of people that want to be identified by who they have sex with. Not how smart they are, how tall they are, what kind of profession they hold. First and foremost they want the world to know they are homosexual. It’s called total acceptance in society and but as long as Christians exist homosexual acts will never be accepted in American society because the Bible states very plainly that it’s a sin and the Bible is not changing. Any sane, rational thinking person knows that the behavior is not only immoral but dangerous and abnormal behavior that leads to mental problems and physical problems. Homosexual “marriage” will never in a million years be accepted by church going, believing Christians and this drives Obama and his lavender regime crazy.

Why does the President get to appoint the anyone to lead the military? He is only Commander is Chief during times of war, we’re not at war.
