A few days ago, I wrote about some of the guests who had been invited to the White House reception in honor of Pope Francis.
President Obama and Pope Francis may be sympatico on climate change, capitalism, and other far-left issues, but when it comes to the teachings of the Catholic Church, they don't agree on much.
The president will put this to the test, because he has invited a pro-abortion nun, a gay bishop, and a transgender female to the White House to meet the pontiff.
Pope Francis has shown himself to be tolerant, but isn't this a slap in the face to so publicly challenge Catholic doctrine?
That's exactly what the Vatican thinks.
On the eve of Pope Francis’s arrival in the U.S., the Vatican has taken offense at theObama administration’s decision to invite to the pope’s welcome ceremony transgender activists, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop and an activist nun who leads a group criticized by the Vatican for its silence on abortion and euthanasia.
According to a senior Vatican official, the Holy See worries that any photos of the pope with these guests at the White House welcoming ceremony next Wednesday could be interpreted as an endorsement of their activities.

One of the men (Clayton?) on “Fox & Friends” this morning pointed out that this administration bristles with hostility to Christianity. This was in the course of discussing the man who called Obama a Muslim on Thursday.
If the Pope really objects, then he should make sure that Larry Sinclair has been extended a special invitation as well.

The big difference is that Jesus wouldn't say to someone like Obama "Oh, you're right... I'll go right ahead and tell my followers to become sinners like you suggest".

I wish he would. I’m not Catholic, nor do I pretend to believe that the Pope is the head of the church - that’s another teaching for another day - however, this is a real slap in the fact to the Catholic Church’s teachings and beliefs. Obama is fixed on gays - he was told not to talk about gay marriage when he went to Africa - and did it anyway. He has no respect for anyone other than his own agenda. May God forgive me, but I loathe this man with every fiber of my being.
Obama is a plant. He is appalling and is driving the world to laugh and see the U.S. as a joke.

Actually, he’s the Bishop of Rome, the one the concave of Cardinals lawfully elected Pope. You may not like it, but Francis is actually Pope.
