Donald Trump is hitting back twice as hard as Democrats — led by the White House – attack him for not rebuking a town-hall questioner who declared that President Barack Obama is a Muslim.

“The bigger issue is that Obama is waging a war against Christians in this country,” Trump tells The New York Times.

But he also said that Americans liked the fact that he did not react to things like voter anger and debate questions with the ordinary language of politicians.

I suppose you know what I'm getting at in this long post. This has to be the most desperate phony outrage of the 37 phony outrages against Trump in the past two months-- He didnt reply to some drunk guy's question in the raucous crowd of supporters like McCain replied to some old ladies marginally similar question eight years ago..

We are supposed to forget about Trump's positions on the issues like illegal immigration and taking care of the vets because of that and vote for someone who would have replied like McCain did but is not as good on the issues we care about? What kind of imbeciles does the media think we are? Or maybe they are so emotionally distraught with losing power that they don't even comprehend how idiotic that proposition is.

As well as saying that there is nothing to fear from Obama, McCain also said the Obama would make a good president.

As another poster stated up thread, that was the turning point for anyone with conservative Constitutional Republic values and outlook.

It started becoming obvious when McCain’s handlers started stifling Sarah Palin shortly after her great speech.

I did vote for Sarah. Sarah and the old guy.
