No. People do not Constitutionally need a permit to concealed carry, or to carry open.

“the right of the people to keep AND BEAR arms shall not be infringed...

requiring a permit is an infringement..
even more so when the author intends that such permits might be denied to some people

If you want to go that far, take it another step. The 1968 GCA, which made it a federal offense for a felon to possess a firearm, is also unconstitutional. If you cannot trust an ex-con with a gun, they should never be released from jail.

Exactly. The left says requiring an ID to vote is infringement on the 14th Amendment. What about the 2nd?
