The House on Friday voted along party lines to freeze federal funding for Planned Parenthood after weeks of escalating tension surrounding its use of fetal tissue.
In a 241-187 vote, the House approved legislation that would block Planned Parenthood's federal funding for one year, giving time for Congress to fully investigate claims of wrongdoing by the provider.

Until the stupid idiots on his district wise up and vote these crony crooks out of office, it will be the norm. OR...the rest of the states need to weigh in on the constitutional convention to change the rules by which congress operates. They have no incentive for policing themselves. States need to take back their power.

Regardless that the RINO-controlled House has read the Constitution out loud at the beginnings of the last three legislative sessions, RINO lawmakers continue to ignore that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to tax and spend for anything like Planned Parenthood.
The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators who help to pass unconstitutional House appropriations bills that create funding for things like vote-winning Planned Parenthood along with it.

They are blocking the funding it appears, entirely, for one year. The freeze part is that it is for one year only, but as I understand this, PP will not be funded for this one year. It’s a poorly written and confusing article.
