So if it comes down to Trump and the Democrat who you gonna vote for?
Once the deniers catch on that Illegal Immigration is the top issue.
Many of the rest sounded like nice polished politicians.
Voters should do their homework before supporting Fiorina. America is already suffering the effects of our first Affirmative Action president. We don’t need another one. AT&T, Lucent, HP. Look it up. What did she actually ever do to earn her promotions and ridiculous financial rewards? She was the right gender in the right company at the right time. As President, she would be in as far over her head as Obama. Perhaps further.
Votes should be cast based on a candidate’s qualifications and abilities and not because of their race and/or gender.
I've seen him do it plenty of times. Don't know what you're doing.
I guess I will stick with Trump. A President Trump means a wall and illegal immigration checked. I settle for that of another President Bush...
Interesting post. I feel the same, except you knew what to expect with McCain and Romneystatus quo liberalism. Trump is still rather unknown and he could will tread an erratic path.
I don't trust Trump, but I trust him more than any of the politicians. Businessmen are not always ethical, but they tend to be practical. Americans want to believe in an easy solution, and we have never been a rational people.
Unfortunately, none of the candidates are willing to tell the truth. Harsh corrective measures are needed. By the time reality strikes, it will be too late.
The thing that WEIGHTS it in Trump’s favor, with me at least, is that the whole world KNEW that CNN and all the GOPe lackeys would be out to do what FNC, Muggin’ Kelly, and the 3 other Stooges on the Mod Panel failed to do a month ago; destroy Trump.
So all Trump really had to do was to hold his own, which he did; plus schooling Jebbie on the 14th A., reminding the planet that if HE hadn’t brought up illegal aliens, it would not be the top issue on the campaign agenda for EVERY candidate. Then FioRino inadvertantly cemented it FOR Trump, by saying “we’ve been talking about the imigration problem for 25 years, and noone has done anything about it.” Those, plus several other issues of importance.
His post-debate remarks as he left the stage and was down in the crowd, were calm, solid, loaded with confidence and aplomb. He reminded me of the legend of George Washington at the great battle out around Ft. Pitt in the French & Indian War out in western PA, when he had two horses shot out from under him and bullet holes in his clothing, but not a scratch on his person. So amazing was it, that the Indians fighting alongside the French were convinced that The Great Spirit was upon Washington, making him bullet proof. And he retained that aura through the lowest lows of the Revolutionary War and through his Presidency.
I think that same Great Spirit is also upon Donald J. Trump, and is going to use him to bust up the Corrupt Bastards Club in DC, and return our Nation to a standard and level of respect where we’ll once more be proud to say we’re Americans.
Jeb has millions he raised in his super-pacs. At a certain point these super-pacs just might rebel and send some of their cash to Carly, Kaisich and Ben Carson who score better in polls than Yeb
Had Trump placed the estimated $200 million he was worth in 1982 into an index fund he’d be worth $8 billion today. He’s worth $3 billion. That’s a loss of $5 billion because Trump managed the fortune his daddy gave him very poorly.
This same comparison was made with Romney and showed that Romney did at best average for hedge fund managers and made a mediocre return when compared to the most successful. Trump’s major selling position is his business skills, specifically his ability to “negotiate” as proven by his net worth.
Trump has made that his keystone issue. He’s a brilliant businessman, but the facts point the opposite direction. He’s a very bad businessman.
Trump claims a $400 million income, but that appears to be a one off from asset sales back in 2013-14. We don’t know because he hasn’t made his tax returns public. Speculation estimates his real income at $70 million or a 2% return on $3 billion.
Not impressive.
Trump, but not because of anything he’s done. Only based on what he says he’ll do. I mean since becoming a “Republican” back in 2011 has Trump actually done anything?
Sadly, Trump will not be the nominee. He’ll drop out at some point, unless it looks like HIllary is losing. See Perot.
Fiorino is the new establishment choice I just bet. You heard it here first.
Such a non-issue. Trump is seeking the GOP nomination not the DNC. He is understandably focused on winning which means defeating the 15 or so other candidates seeking the same goal. After he defeats them & secures the nomination he will go lights out against the RATs.
He’s not playing the game according to established practices. That said, he has on numerous occasions called Hillary the worst sec of State in history. “Mainsteam & light”? That’s not even rational given the facts. Take care. Peace :)
It's free Obamaphones for all, turned up to eleven and with just enough of a conservative rhetoric shell to make it go down smoothly.
Remember how the networks used to have instant poll results after the debates? Just one question sometimes, with a relatively small sample, “Who do you think won the debate?”
Can’t report any of that with Trump the clear actual winner with the people, but the pundits in heavy on-air spin mode.
To maybe keep things in perspective; if memory serves, Garfield was a Minister of the Gospel. A winner of immortal souls.
It has been reported that on the night Garfield won the election to be POTUS, his mother wept, saying “My son is leaving off preaching the gospel and stooping to being president.”
I don’t think it’s a promotion of Trumps message as much as it is his METHODS.
I am not a Trump supporter, but I completely support him being in the race because he makes liberals and establishment pissed their pants, they are spending a LOT of time and energy and money going after him and that frees Cruz up to do his thang without being on the defensive the whole time. I think the elites will eventually take him down, and then I hope Cruz will rise to the top.
OK, noob... we don’t tolerate language like that here.
Knock it off
Been here for two years or longer with probably thousands upon thousands of posts. Criticize my language, but calling me a noob just annoys me.
Newsmax is Trump central, so a Newsmax viewer poll is hardly scientific. Trumpkins are a lot like paulbots that way, they support their guy fanatically and skew all online polls including Drudge.
Trump did fine. I'd say he even did well. But he appeared to me to just be another candidate on stage. That is both good and bad for him. The bad is that the celebrity is wearing thin. The good, now he gets to hold his own and campaign as just another of the 15 or so candidates. Aside from the clownish faces and silly gestures he makes on stage when he doesn't like what he is hearing, he is learning to become a better candidate which he will need to do over the long run anyway.
Prove it. Show me where he condemns Democrat policies and practices as the cause of America’s woes.
