I ended up watching the entire debate even after thinking it was basically worthless because it was nothing more than CNN doing a "let's you and he fight" bit the entire time but I think the three top winners in the debate were Cruz, Rubio, and surprisingly for me, Fiorina if we were to judge the "debate" on the substance each candidate managed to state despite CNN's best efforts to squelch that.

I think Trump didn't hurt or help himself. The remaining candidates I'd expect to hit "also ran's" in the next few weeks and we'll probably see one or more drop out.

I don't see Huckabee getting ANY traction whatsoever but he's stubborn enough to stick it out no matter what.

As for the "early" debate, they may as well all drop out now. Bobby Jindal seemed to the the most forceful/committed candidate in the early debate but again, not gonna gain traction -- any of them.

Of course that's just my opinion.

Anybody who thinks Trump is winning isn’t listening to the debate. He is coming across as sophomoric, petty and petulant. He hasn’t answered one question except to call others names and expound on his personal greatness. No plans or ideas just his typical hyperbole.

Any poll showing him winning or moving up in popularity is being cooked.
