Anybody who thinks Trump is winning isn’t listening to the debate. He is coming across as sophomoric, petty and petulant. He hasn’t answered one question except to call others names and expound on his personal greatness. No plans or ideas just his typical hyperbole.

Any poll showing him winning or moving up in popularity is being cooked.

I agree Trump is a self-centered shallow egomaniac.

Let’s face it though - apart from the Cruz, none of the rest of the GOP field is as blunt and colorful as Trump.

He’s a flawed candidate but no one’s perfect. The only way his poll numbers would crash is if he hurt himself and he didn’t do it.

Basically, this race is his to lose.

Trump has provided more and more substance as time has gone on.

In these debates he is easily distracted (because of his nature) and returns any slight or dig on him with fire in return. That’s who he is.

A lot of people like that about him. They feel he is going to go out and try and do the things he says, and will do so no matter what garbage is thrown at him about it.

My personal first choice is Ted Cruz going away...but Trump is invigorating the campaign and the debate. His squaring off against the media and the GOP establishment is what is really attracting people to him, and he is keying in on that with a will.

Apparently, in spot polls about this debate, a lot of people feel that way and feel he won it. Your feeling that they must all not be listening,” might hold if it were a close thing...but he is winning going away. You may be able to stand on debate etiquette and official rules...but people vote, and they vote based on their own perceptions and decisions n the matter. Here’s the latest numbers:

TRUMP 58.55% (134,201 votes)
FIORINA 15.62% (35,812 votes)
CRUZ 5.94% (13,615 votes)
PAUL 5.44% (12,465 votes)
RUBIO 4.84% (11,092 votes)
CARSON 4.64% (10,640 votes)
KASICH 1.21% (2,767 votes)
BUSH 1.2% (2,746 votes)
CHRISTIE 1.15% (2,644 votes)
WALKER 0.83% (1,899 votes)
HUCKABEE 0.58% (1,336 votes)

That’s something like 220,000 votes so far.

Yes. He’s the worst one, except for all the rest. No one knocked it out of the park.

Trump did great, even hearing that from people who don’t even keep up with politics. Only your sissy candidate is whining about people’s temperance.
