Do you honestly not see that Cruz would then be target number one, with the press fawning over Carly (or an acolyte) non-stop?
With moderate Republicans and Democrats voting, where do you think that leads, Cruz or a Bush/Fiorina/Christie player?
Trump is hawking a decent Conservative agenda.
He can get elected and that’s the best we can do right now.
Cruz can handle being target number one just fine. You won’t see me whining every time he gets a tough question.
