I am damned tired of people attacking Dubya over going into Iraq. Not just picking on you. Some people need to go back and read his speech identifying the specifics of what he was doing and why.

I did some marketing work for a Kurdish American named Jano Rosebiani, who sneaked film out of Iraq and did a film called WMD: Weapon of Mass Destruction. Tagline was The Murderous Reign of Saddam Hussein.

For those who forget, Hussein’s scientists were working with Libyan scientists to get a nuke. After his capture, Hussein told his CIA handler that he planned to ramp up his nuke program when the heat was off. Hussein was responsible for the deaths of 1.3 million innocents. He used WMDs on his own people, the Kurds.

Bush was given intelligence that told him, and all the rest of those elected officials from both parties who authorized use of force, that Hussein had to be stopped. Given the opportunity, he would develop a nuke.

Had he developed the nuke, what would any of you say about Bush’s failure to stop Saddam Hussein had a terrorist sneaked a small nuke into Manhattan?

At one time, people who wanted more freedom in the Middle East had some hope. They showed off purple fingers. But what happened to make it all go to hell? The answer is Barack Hussein Obama.
