I'm not watching, but I have followed the whole debate here on FR, and it is pretty obvious that what you say cannot be trusted and isn't accurate. From what I have read from everyone, Trump 1) basically eliminated Bush and Paul (who promised to "take him out"), 2) did ok, with big bright spots in his immigration comments and not so bright spots in some other exchanges.

So I have to conclude that for whatever reason you really hate Trump and distort.

Now, here is a little clue: going in, Trump had only one major job---smack down the #2 challenger, because NO ONE else is within 20 (and in some cases 30) points. So, at the end of the night, did Trump gain ground on Carson? Yes. Based on the comments here, not even close. THAT was his task. Mission accomplished.
