I agree, this debate sucks big time. The moderators are baiting all the candidates to bad mouth everyone else and not to just answer questions about our future and how these guys will deal with it.

This has just been a complete waste of my time. They have succeeded. I can’t stand any of these guys — (Ted Cruz excepted).

The media and GOPe are afraid of cruz..just like most Freepers at this point. CRUZ is the best we have in the line up and he’s being shafted by Free Republic and tossed in a corner ....there was a day a year ago when Ted Cruz was THE CANDIDATE of choice at FR... sadly not any more.
If Donald Trump becomes President , I fear MANY if not most of those who tossed Ted will regret that decision... we could be in for some bad days ahead with the Trump.....

You could be right on the audience, but there's little that's more satisfying to an audience than seeing a braggart and a bully taken down.

Trump is trying to “tone it down” so he does not go ballistic on Carly or Rand Paul. He knew he was going to get napalm tonight so I think he adjusted his attitude somewhat.

Bingo. He knows what he's doing. He's been 'business presidential' for 40 yrs. . . He knows this interpersonal stuff, what works, what doesn't, the Ad stuff. He's a Natural. . And people thought Clinton was good. . He'll do his homework on the particulars and be ready with The A Team in January, 2017. 70+ percent of the American People Know were going in the wrong direction. They see Donald Trump as actually Doing Something to change that direction. He 'does stuff' for a living and he's damn good at it.

RE: He had a nice stretch in the middle, deftly handling questions regarding the Iran deal, going back and forth with Kasich, and he delivered an outstanding monologue on government funding of Planned Parenthood.

If you had a beer and went to tinkle for the two minutes they’ve gone to him you wouldn’t know he was even there. This is orchestrated by CNN to eliminate him.
