stoke anger but don’t solve problems
The anger is present whether it gets stoked or not. Taking the lid off the pot will relieve some of the pressure and address the issue. Maybe it can deter/prevent any future violence that may occur from the anger. If someone wants to be President they have to address the hard issues too.
