Mika Brzezinski: fired up and ready to go . . . for Donald Trump? Not exactly. It isn't that Mika's jumping on the Make America Great Again express. It's just that she wants "intellectual honesty" from her peers when it comes to admitting that Trump has gone from amusing sideshow who's sure to eventually crash to true frontrunner who is now likely to be the Republican nominee.
You might not think of Brzezinski as being particularly data-driven, but on today's Morning Joe she repeatedly argued that there is no data supporting a Trump meltdown scenario. Going around the table with the question of whether it was "likely" or not that Trump would be the Republican nominee, she, Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist were in the "likely" column. Susan Ferrechio of the Washington Examiner was at 50-50. The only naysayer was Bloomberg's John Heilemann, who opined it was unlikely Trump would be the nominee.

Mika demands “honesty” of her peers: wants them to admit it’s likely Trump will be Republican nominee.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Meanwhile the RNC and FNC are doing everything they can to see that doesn’t happen. Strange days man, strange days.
What is certain is that the base is completely disgusted with the GOP and is demanding change. I saw a great bumper sticker the other day:
( ) Democrat
( ) Republican
(x) Pissed Off
I think that reflects the general mood of the country.
Joe only has to put up with Mika a few hours a day.
Pity the poor schlub who is married to her.
She is clearly right on this point... there is some serious denial going on about the likelihood of a Trump nomination.. Things can change but in terms of likely outcomes, it is pretty extreme denial to say that he is the likely nominee.. at this point..
Sorry, I meant not the likely nominee..
No votes have been cast, they won’t be for about four more months. By then, things may change dramatically. Why anyone would admit something that is not inexorable or certain easy to understand.
Yeah, strange that some FReepers and Libs want Trump on the ticket.
Maybe we need a new designation—Trumpicrat. True—anything Can (and will happen before March 2016) I will put on the swami’s turban—and look into my crystal ball—what do I see in the future?
1) Biden will enter the race—Octobe 1
2) Hillary will get more scandals
3) She will drop out by January
4) Jindal will drop out with Rubio in February.
5) Trump and Sanders will win New Hapshire
6) Biden will win Iowa so will Trump, Huckabee 3rd place.
7) Jeb will fight on til North Carolina.
8) Scandal will force Carson out.
9) The primary in the South will call the show.
10) Trump will be battered but not beaten.
