This is the Donald Trump I support.
He shines in these venues and has always been superior in the interview settings, particularly the ones in Trump Tower, when he is with reporters whom he actually respects or with whom he feels comfortable.
He doesn’t have to spar. He completes thoughts and yes, DoughtyOne, he presents more inner workings.
The TAKE AWAY is that he is not going to post that 4 to 20 page policy paper, for which the craven, ravenous media and his opponents are increasingly criticizing him. When events and variables change, and if you’re really a political athlete, then flexibility, quickness, and agility in the contest is an ability to die for.
Trump has that, in spades. It is the difference between winning and losing in every contest, whether sports, real estate, or war and politics.
The media and his opponents would like to turn Trump’s ability to hold his cards into a negative. He will likely give them nothing.
Yep.
Knowing Trump as we do, I would imagine that he will reward those in the media who have been fair to him (not good, just fair) with the release of his tax position.
And I am guessing his tax position will fit on one page.
I agree with your comments.
The one spot I could differ is that I think he will release a vision for his policies.
At the same time he will make it known that as events take place, he may have to alter them. That’s not deflection. It’s just reality.
He’s a pretty straight up guy.
