Rainbows are not over anything. It is an illusion based on geometry of the observer, the light source (sun), and the rain droplets. It's late. I'm tired.
Rainbows, as far as I know are always above the ground and if more than 6 feet high, usually above peoples' heads. If we can't agree on this, then someone has some serious issues.
Besides, I think I read it in the Prophecies of Maelmhaedhoc OÂMorgair.

They may have an "apparent" location ("up in the sky", etc.) and an "apparent" size ("all the way from the TransAmerica Building to the Coit Tower"), but in actual fact, they don't exist in a concrete sense and therefore have no "real" location.
