I will take a look. Sounds interesting.

Strange moving troops from Crimea to Syria. Sounds like not enough troops to go around? But i’m probably completely wrong on that one.

Another thing that strikes me is the number of conventional wars that have been and are being waged since the dawn of the nuclear age.

Though I know it helped avoid the BIG ONE in Europe between USSR and us, there still have been quite a few.

Trying to think of two nuclear powers have fought each other since. Pakistan and India?

It was noted on other sites today that the unit the Russians are moving to Syria seems to be from the Naval Infantry Regiment (Marines) that was involved in the Crimean takeover.

That would make sense if they are going to secure Tartus.

Russia and China during the Amur River dispute in the 60’s.

The Russian strategy is “No bridge is too far” when it comes to their military interests.

Putin does. Obama does not. That is the difference between these two Marxists. One is Marxist-Heavy. The other is Marxist-Lite with a yellow streak up his back.
