No I don’t. I worry that he doesn’t actually understand the problem. Not because hes dumb because he isn’t. But because he lacks perspective. He’s smart enough to get it. But he and we see two very different worlds. Trump is by nature, top down. It works for him in business and is an advantage in some political things.

Now consider that his top and ours are different beasts. You and I see Immigration as invasion. He shares that. Thus no issue.

He sees extraconstitutional edicts/laws as done deals. Sometimes. Not others. This is going to become an issue. Whether he clues in or not will be the difference between Trump the liberal wannabee and Trump the man who grows rapidly into being worthy of his office.

Time will tell which.

Norm, if he were the Leftist that his detractors see him to be, why would he be sending signals that Cruz and he see things so much alike?

Just today he praised Cruz’ comments on the Iran deal.

It’s my take that a Trump/Cruz ticket would result in him being schooled to at the very least understand the thinking behind our arguments. Trump doesn’t seem to be against listening and learning. I take that as a very positive sign.

Notice his tweaked Syrian Refugee stance.

He listens, and he adapts. Isn’t that what we have been askign for, someone who does just that?
