Imagine if someone hacked facebook and dumped every fb private message and chat conversation out into the internet.

I most certainly agree. Had a friend and former boss who’s ex-wife carried on a relationship with a person from her old high school on FB and left him after 16 or so years of marriage.
He never saw it coming.

Some years ago a friend of mine wanted me to have a Facebook page. I got one and never go there. I am on a trip right now and wanted to read a family member’s new posts on her Facebook page. Because I’m using a small travel type computer, Facebook wouldn’t let me on to see her page. Their method to identify me on there was to indentify pictures on MY Facebook page.
They showed various pictures of people and I didn’t know enough of them to get past their test, so they showed me more pictures and I couldn’t identify enough of them, so they should me MORE pictures and I couldn’t identify enough of them. WHO ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE “MY FRIENDS”. I tried for two days to get on there and finally they asked me regular questions instead of showing me pictures of people on my page.
Once I was on there, I still didn’t go to my page, I went to the family member’s page. If someone sucks the info. off my Facebook page, maybe they will know those peoples’ names. I have no personal info. on there.
I don’t even know how to get to twitter and I wouldn’t put any info. on there.
Only because every member of Freerepublic is a real person and not a false account.
