I responded to DoughtyOne's call the other day and threw in an extra 10-spot on my regular Monthly. That felt good.
Well, just now I threw in another sawbuck... for A Very Special Person.
My best friend of over 30 years passed away two weeks ago of cancer on top of Parkinson's. It was a terrible way to go.
I miss him tremendously. So this 10 is for him.
But one thing ya gotta know -- he was a dyed-in-the-wool Lib Democrap. God Bless His Little Heart, he was a Joe Biden fan. I kid you not.
So it would toast his kippers to know that I donated 10 bucks in his name to FreeRepublic.
Which is, of course, why I'm doing it. I can do no less for my best friend. He was a good man, politics notwithstanding.
E-man, I love you. Rest In Peace, Dear Friend. I miss you.
P.S. Sorry to say, Biden doesn't have a chance in Hell. Just sayin'... :-)
