A high dollar loot with no broken glass either. Smash and dash are for the lower level chumps only.

Well it’s not like it comes from the people. It comes from the government.
there’s a difference.

They should have based the award on how much he would have earned at his job...

They’ll be able to get a nice timeshare on Lake Tahoe with Eric Garner’s family.

Cold financial and political calculus. The city leaders calculated that their jobs were more secure if they settle. Dirty laundry comes out during trials. Plus litigation is expensive even if you win. Finally, it’s not their money, so who cares?

It would be interesting to see the ethnicity of the negotiators on both sides. #BlackLawyersMatter

Poor Freddie.
Kinda like the starving artist whose value is not recognized until after his death.

How to pay it out.
1. ON National TV, with huge fanfare, the city officials should show up at the family’s home.
2. Carry in suitcases FULL OF CASH! Open them on TV to show the cash is there!
3. Do it on a Saturday afternoon AFTER THE BANKS ARE CLOSED!
4.Withdraw ALL police protection for five miles around and let nature take it’s course.
Any bets on how much will be left Monday morning?
To: dware
For this to happen before the cops are found Not Guilty, sounds like a rushed payoff to me.

Yep. And they’ll go thru that $$$ like salt through a sieve.
To: dware
You know that the Black Overlords running the city were eager to pay out as much as possible.

Lil Freddie was worth $6.4 billion if he was worth a penny.
