That boat is a lot more effective when everyone *doesn’t* know where it is.

President Vladimir Putin... to fortify Assads regime in Damascus ...
Kerry was referring to potential Russian interference with US-led coalition air strikes against the Islamic State in Syria.Wait a minute. If Putin is on Assad's side, then Putin is also against ISIS.
Kerry is a douchebag.

Maybe the Russians are planning to save Europe from a further refugee crisis by filling the Mediterranean with radiation from a sunken sub.

Okay first off its Debka we’ll leave that aside for the moment. The second thing is so what? What the hell is parking a strategic asset in the Med going to do? What’s it going to deter?
I think we are beyond being threatened by nukes.

Being in the Black Sea should supply sufficient range to hit the bad guys. The Mediterranean doesn’t really advance the chess game.

So Russia wants to prevent Syria from falling into the hands of ISIS.
...How is this a bad thing? Oh right because our president is on the Muslims’ side.
Assad staying is status quo, how is this so unbearable of an outcome that ISIS and Al-Qaeda are a better alternative?

Interesting. The Russians have had a naval base at Tartus Syrian for a long time. I don’t recall if it’s equipped to support nuc submarines but it seems odd to move a Boomer into such an exposed position. Probably just a middle finger salute to Obutthole and the the US.
