With favorables improving, unfavorables decreasing and two-thirds of the electorate now believing Trump can win the nomination, the latest YouGov National Poll shows Donald Trump dominating the rest of the field.
This is the eighth consecutive regional and national poll with Jeb Bush in single digits; a devastating reality for the RNC/GOPe machine.
The debate this week will be their final opportunity to save Jeb the pressure is astronomical, and you can guarantee Fiorina and Rubio will be called upon to deliver the goods and take out Trump.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, doesnt even need the debate.

They would be doing their job a lot better if Trump was not in the race.
That has thrown a monkey wrench in Rove’s plan.
Message to Perry: It's not the prescription.
Yep. I missed it.
Very appropriate.
Interesting to see if the super PACs that aren’t supposed to be directly supportive of one campaign or another (but in all cases definitely are) decide to start spreading money around to keep the midgets in the race so they can attack Trump while Jeb remains “presidential” and above the fray.
And Trump has so many more subjects to bring up!
An earlier posting here and on Drudge says that employment of native born Americans has grown much more slowly than that of non-native-born’s.
I’ll bet Trump will have something to say about that.
Haha, I was laughing at the picture of Rubio. They show him once again slurping water. LOL
I’m with you. I hate these debates and they prove nothing except that a panel of “moderators” ask a bunch of stupid, gotcha questions. The first debate kind of narrowed the field, but the others - meh - who needs to hear any more from these people? They all have websites, do rallies and town hall meetings where they can freely express their views. This debate will not change my mind on anyone anyway.
I just said the same thing in another post today. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason for those under 5% to keep up the charade at this point. It's time for them to go.
Given that these aren't 'debates', but more like group interviews anyway, what's the point? There's not a damn thing that voters will learn from them.
They only serve as a means to demote or elevate the MSM/establishment's choices. Total waste of time.
Politicians run also for the donations from the rich donors. Even if they don’t win they get a lot of $ in donations, the top 3 fundraisers running have more than $100 million dollars each in donations already.
These scum politicians run to enrich themselves and give “conservative” speeches but never have done nothing conservative or pro-American
Go Trump! Crush those sell out politicians looking to enrich themselves with dollars.
Cruz isn’t going to be above Trump on a presidential ticket, either.
No offense intended. But if I can be sure of ANYTHING, it is that Trump will not take a Veep slot. And in an attempt at humor, I implied that anyone who really believes he would must be smoking a little wacky weed. JMHO.
>> These scum politicians run to enrich themselves and give conservative speeches but never have done nothing conservative or pro-American
Ditto 99% of the “conservative” “funds” that flood your inbox with their spam begging donations. If you’re lucky, after they pay themselves and their friends “consulting fees” for “marketing campaigns” and such, maybe 10% of the contributed money finds its way to an actual candidate.
Trump’s phenomenon is putting these vermin on life support, too, I hope.
Agreed. How many times do we need to hear the same talking points from the career politicians? I got it the first debate and anything I missed I’m sure I’ll hear in the second debate so after that its really just white noise. Its not like anything new is going to get said.
What they don’t say is that Trump gets a post debate bump of 10%.
Give it another month and he will be at 40%+
