Since when can’t you protest on a sidewalk?

The sidewalk is public property. As long as you don’t block traffic it should be no harm no foul.

I don’t know what is legal in Canada, but I’m guessing they don’t share the same protections we do...did.

Canada does not have freedom of speech. It is limited. You cannot publicaly speak against sodomy or abortion. Canada is a morally degenerate nation. America is too,but we have free speech and people arill protest abortion and sodomy, and other things.
