Go ahead and buy yourself a Tim Tebow jersey, because Rocky Balboa has just endorsed Tebowmania in Philadelphia.

"How could you not like Tim Tebow?" Sylvester Stallone rhetorically asked a TMZ reporter yesterday after news that Eagles quarterback Matt Barkely was traded to the Cardinals, opening up a spot on the roster for Tebow.

In Sam in the NFL in some “down low” sense?

No, neither Sam or Tebow are in the NFL, and for the same reason. Neither has the talent it takes to play the game at the pro level.

Tebow could be a fullback or tight end if he’d be willing to. He has the physical tools.

He isn't willing to. And it'd be hard to change now to a different position and compete with players who have been fullbacks and tight ends for years.

I disagree, at least with respect to fullback. He knows blocking schemes, and is used to running the ball.

If I were him, I’d just make millions being on tv. He has nothing to prove, and doesn’t need brain damage.

Oh God. You are the reason our country is a disaster. You want to keep a sub par player because he is christian. You are 100 percent liberal in your thinking. I bet a million dollars you’d be for affirmative action for Christians. Pity you even exist.

The Steelers were nine point favorites. Like I said, when it comes to Tebow, you only see and admit the negative.

Remember the Vegas line is NOT a prediction of the results, it’s a way to manipulate the betting public to even out the betting and keep the bookie in a profitable position no matter who wins. I’m a Steeler fan, I thought we were in trouble from the start, the front was mostly 2nd stringers, and the 1 top starter left had sickle-cell and the last time he played in Denver the thin atmosphere almost killed him. Then guys started getting hurt during the game. By the 2nd half they had no starters left in the front 7, not even the so-so starters, and a couple of the 2nd stringer gotten hurt. The defense was dead.

That’s you’re own confirmational bias. I’ve said repeatedly I like him. But I don’t let my opinion of a player as a person interfere my interpretation of plainly simple reality. The stats are the stat and the facts are the facts and the stats point irrefutably to the fact that Tebow is not an NFL caliber QB. Which is why he’s out of the league... again... maybe even for good this time.

But look on the bright side, he’ll almost certainly be back covering SEC games by this time next week. So he’ll actually have MORE time in front of a microphone to spread his message.
