Except it’s not a deal yet. Instead of acting like the vote already happened, I’d like to see Trump try to stop it. No one has a bigger mic.

Unless he’s already become one of those who want the Presidency more than anything else.

Don’t ever want something so bad you can’t walk away, you’ll lose every time.

Agreed ball...now comes the trial in which Trump will have to steel himself to have a chance to weather the storm which shall befall him. If he is capable of that, this may actually work.

There are those who play checkers. There are those who play chess. The checker players among us support her. The chess players are willing to let it play to it’s end before acting.

Ok, that is the last I will defend him. I wasn’t voting for him anyway, but now I will stay silent while the attackers attack. He is of no interest to me.

If the Kentucky clerk is in jail for failing to follow the law, why is Hillary Clinton still free and running for president?

Immigration is law made by legislatures. The homo marriage nonsense is “law” made by judges. You don’t see a difference?

And what of the Iran deal?

Trump is starting to show the typical political traits of trying to have things both ways. No thanks.

Cruz, Jindal, Huckabee, Santorum are still in it for me.

It is amazing to read the comments of the Trump supporters. Every one has some idea about what Trump REALLY means, and how he will really turn it around and do something super conservative, and we are all too dense to see how smart Trump really is in all of this...

I am just waiting for the day that Trump suggests that government hospitals should do third-trimester abortions specifically so we can lower the deficit by selling the baby parts. I know that there will be dozens of Trump supporters gushing about how smart and conservative that is, and why didn’t anybody ever think of that before!

What is the surprise? First, on the Iran deal--Cruz, Rubio, Graham, and all but one senator approved the formulation that just 34 senators would be needed for Obama to get a pass! Very disingenuous for Cruz and any of them to object now that they set up such a low bar to passage. That Trump says he's deal with it is pragmatic. What's the alternative, cancel it after the fact, after Iran got the money, etc.? A bit late. Shame on Cruz.

And the homosexual marriage? What is he to do? Be a martyr? Not in the cards.

I don't like these either but not sure what one does different at this point except deal with it. Enforce the deal that Obama reached and, with homosexual marriage, how about a different tact, get government out of it and leave "marriage" a matter of the church.

This is not an attack. it is about his actual positions. If he loses support over it, it will be his own doing.

Yes, I am seeng some who have been laying low, coming out now and saying that they don't care about the "social" conservative issues, and I'm thinking, here we go again, if you're not a social conservative, you're just not conservative, period. You know, I think we "social conservatives" and Biblical Christians are on our own in this country now, and for us Christians, this is a good if difficult lesson in not putting our faith, any of it, in man and man's systems, but completely and only in God. The Christians martyrs in Rome had no one to turn to except God.

For those 'securely' under the Trump umbrella...the facts will not compute... even when admitted by Trump there will always be an excuse they can live with.....Unfortunately we do live in a society that are thrill seekers and excitement driven...and Trump surely gives them a ride...

I saw this one coming. In fact, I was HOPING Trump would make the statement he did on the KY county clerk obeying the law because now he has the moral authority to claim that the sanctuary cities MUST obey the immigration laws.

p.s. In KY will they be giving complementary bottles of KY jelly to gays applying for marriage licenses?

Ihe Extreme Court’s decision is *not* a law. Its an opinion... in this case, an ideological belch.

What law? (Immigration law is codified, passed by Congress, this is not).

Congress cannot make any laws which violate the First Amendment, as the court is attempting to do.

The existing State statute was overturned by the lower court, leaving no law.

The court rules on the constitutionality of laws, it does not write laws. The SCOTUS refused to hear the case--so it wasn't even the Supremes who passed down a ruling.

Congress CAN pass a law requiring NO ONE be forced, for the purposes of employment, public or private, to engage in any activity which violates their religious beliefs, but then that would conflict with Obamacare (abortion and abortifacient provisions, for starters), queer training in the schools, funding Planned Parenthood through tax payments, and so much more.
