Hugh Hewitt: Rubio, Cruz, Jeb Could Do All-Spanish Debate — Hillary ‘Can’t Order At Taco Bell’
Daily Caller ^ | 6/18/15 | Al Weaver

Radio host Hugh Hewitt talked up the potential for the GOP 2016 field among Latino-Americans Thursday, saying multiple candidates could tap the voting bloc by participating in an all-Spanish debate.

Hewitt, who is currently out promoting his book “The Queen,” told Larry King that while the likes of Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz could do their own debate in Spanish, Hillary Clinton “can’t order at Taco Bell.” The conservative radio host made the comment when discussing the perfect ticket for the GOP in 2016.

“The perfect ticket will be able to appeal to not just white males over the age of 40. They’ll be able to talk to Latino-Americans. They’ll be able to talk to African-Americans. They’ll be able to talk to young single women. We haven’t done a very good job at that,” Hewitt said. “Mitt Romney got smashed in the Latino demographic in 2012. I think he said just this last week…if he had anything to do over again, he’d go to the African-American community and the Latino community earlier. I think our perfect ticket will do just that.”

Of all the Oxford English Dictionary sized volumes full of the reasons why she is not qualified to run the country, “Hillary Clinton ‘can’t order at Taco Bell.’”
comes up on page 666 on the very last of 13 volumes.

The problem Hugh, that you, Jeb and Marco don't seem to get is this is a contest for the President of the United States of North America not Mexico or Central America. Why not have an all Vietnamese, Chinese, German, Polish, Swedish, pick your language? Why should we pander to one language of immigrants A-hole? There should be one language on the campaign the language of the country we are in, not the language of another country! There is a reason I stopped listening to Hewitt years ago.

Slumming with Larry King to sell books.

Sales should really soar.

Thankfully, the guy isn't on the radio in my area.

Hillary Clinton “can’t order at Taco Bell.”

Nothing in Taco Bell tastes remotely like real Mexican food. That's not to say some of it isn't tasty, but it's not Mexican - Taco Bell is as American as McDonalds.

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought that the candidates are running for President of the United States, which is an English speaking country. Mastering English is an important skill for that position, mastering Spanish is not. It is not like we don’t have translators. I am tired of republican politicians acting like democrats and pandering to various ethnic groups. If Jeb had any sense, he would worry more about trying to impress people that may actually vote republican than an ethnic group that will likely vote 70% against the republican candidate. BTW, I live in Texas which is in the Western Hemisphere and I have not found my lack of Spanish language skills to be any hindrance at all, maybe it would be in Mexico but I don’t go there.
