What GOP establishment won’t admit about Trump (but better ASAP)
Allen West,com ^ | 9/4/15 | Angela Graham-West

“We’re going to have so many victories,” Trump told overflow crowd in New Hampshire recently.

These were the words America wanted to hear. “We need victories,” trumpeted from one of the greatest communicators we’ve witnessed on the campaign trail for President of the United States of America. This is why, on the stage of 17, the rest pale in comparison.

We’ve spent quite possibly the past decade doubting our abilities, second guessing our motives and generally spawning a generation of young people who don’t actually believe America is great or exceptional at all. The apology tours, the racial strife, the divisions within the populace, the general malaise and self-flagellation have left many feeling alienated and asking themselves, “is this really my country?” People are crying out for relief.

It is simple. If a wall is not built, we have lost our country. Complicate it if you like.

CRUZ has been for THE WALL before TRump became a republican AGAIN.. even when he was a democrat then became an independant and now back to a republican...

WITH Cruz a WALL WILL BE BUILT... the Constitution restored to much of its power (will take more than one term).. and the IMMIGRATION fiasco WILL END.. with some of the laws that ALREADY EXIST.. and few NOW ONES....

AND WHOLE OTHER OF RIGHTEOUS GOODYS AS WELL..

TRUMPS current “JADAS MOment” will fade.. be forgotten..
And the Crony Capitalist will flee the country for fear of INDITEMENT.

AND not only THAT but if he chooses MIKE LEE as VEEP..
8 more years of it all will bring hope back.. to America..

Donald Trump may flee to Geneva.. to run his global Enterprise.. YEAH.. it’s GLOBAL...
He is indeed a global crony capitalist NOW.. you see..
America is just “a MARK” to be exploited..

TRUMP as President?... You must be crazy..

I’ve seen those sorts of comments so many times for real, that it seemed natural for them to be here.

I don’t see all the names on Trump threads because I usually get bogged down with anti-Trump trolls. I’ve missed you there.

Take care.

Oh I have had my run-ins with Trump trolls too.

Some are so narrow minded they would look through a key hole with both eyes.

I support Trump as well. The refreshing things about him is that he is an American success story, he isn’t hiding anything and he can’t be bought.

Yes he is refreshing.

That is a great term for all of this.

Perhaps most important is that Trump will not turn into a wimp after being elected, unlike most Republicans.

And he won’t be bowing to Arabs.

Obama is the underlying cause of all of this....

You have to, as a voter, sort out your emotions from rationality.

Trump appeals, in my view, to emotional action.

Obama was elected twice by way of the same sort of thinking.

IMO, you do not correct one wrong with another..

Trump is about winning and can’t do. Listen to anything McConnell says and it is always “That will not be possible at this time.” Recently he said that about defunding planned parenthood. He also said it about repealing Obamacare, defunding executive amnesty, fighting to block the Iran bill.

Everything depends on what your definition of “winning” is. For McConnell winning is stuffing his pockets full of cash and being leader of his party. So to that end he will protect progressive GOPers who don’t want to take tough votes on things like defunding PP. In return they will vote for him as leader. The GOP has become little more than the Pay Me party with no substantive policy core to speak of.

Not quite. Obama was elected 1- because he is somewhat black; and 2- because he appeared to be educated and open minded. His obvious ties to homosexuality and communism were not considered important.
Trump is supported because he is 1- outspoken and not intimidated; 2- proven successful at building a vast business empire. His effectiveness at working with liberals to develop his business will not be held against him.
Neither are particularly emotional motivation. Both are rational, more or less.
I agree that Obamaism is the effective cause for support of Trump. The nation is apoplectic in its hatred of everything Obama and revels in Trump’s put downs.

Nice apology to AMntn,
I recognized the sarcasm, but it wasn’t obvious.
Civility needs to remain a hallmark of FR.
Thanks again,

You got around to making my point but you took a longer route.

Would you say that the above thinking is emotionally based or rational?

I do not separate the two. Generally emotion is based on some rational foundation, certainly true with Obama. He is catastrophic to all that has made America great.

I do not separate the two.

I do....To me, you might as well be voting for sexual parts, or hair color if you react emotionally to a candidate.

That is exactly what I thought about Jorge Delano Arbusto during his second term, the pushing of John McCain and finally Willard!
